The Board has been contacted in previous winters about children playing on the lake ice at the end of the ramp in the park. Please talk with your children about the potential danger.

If you have questions regarding the new trash totes call the Public Works Department at 431-2382.  Please remember that all trash must be inside the tote.  Trash not inside the tote subjects you to a fine by the city.  The tote may be used for yard waste if it has a city yard waste sticker.  Only Danville yard waste bags will be picked up.

The Board completed a survey in January 2007 concerning the placement of political signs in Lake Shores.  The results of the survey were as follows:

            -allow placement-45

            -do not allow placement-101

            -no reponse-51

Therefore, the Architectural Committee will not approve the placement of a political sign.  The Covenants of your homeowner’s association takes precedence over local, state or federal rulings concerning political signs.  We would appreciate your cooperation by not displaying political signs for the campaigns.

New playground equipment will be installed in the park this fall.

The Association has a web site at lakeshoreshoa.org.  Please use it to find the by-laws, minutes to meetings and other information concerning our organization.

If you are interested in joining our “Crime Watch” group please call Ted Baer at         431-3120.

As the Holiday season approaches we would like to thank the residents who decorate the exterior of their homes for the enjoyment of neighbors and holiday visitors.
